Core Principles

When people are without debilitating health conditions it is their task to stay healthy. How best can we do this?

Acupuncture and other third paradigm modalities bring balance and maintain an ideal state of health and well-being. Because acupuncture is an energetic medicine that effects the physical, it is considered to be a third paradigm healing modality. Thus, it can help restore balance in both physiological and non-physiological elements, lending to a balanced life expression that is more adept at handling stress.

Conventional Western medicine best in practice for serious injuries. It has been referred to often as 'heroic medicine' that works best in emergency situaitons. The medicine that I aspire to provide has more to do with helping you live long and live well. It is about recognizing imbalances that show up as lost potential for living your life fully.

I have made it my life’s work to identify and implement the most non-invasive treatment methods for pain alleviation and dis-ease prevention. Acupuncture is one of many non-invasive treatment modalites, and can serve anyone as a primary means for opening up obstructed energy pathways in a body that has pain.  Moving stagnant energy allows nutrients in the blood matrix to flow where it is most needed. This approach is completely wholistic in its scope.

Everyone is welcome.

Regardless of your age, sex, gender orientation, gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, religion, body type, disability, or other uniqueness, you are safe here.

Transparency builds trust.

If you have a question, ask. If you need to speak to me about your treatment, please call. If there is a concern or suggestion, please let me know. I am here for you.

Acupuncture is not a magic trick, and there are no pharmaceuticals injected through an acupuncture needle. Instead, techniques are implemented to help you heal from the inside out. This approach can soothe your central nervous system, calm systemic inflammation, regulate your mood, and restore your innate ability to heal.

Balancing Yin & Yang

‘Yin’ and ‘Yang’ are general terms that can represent many pairs of opposites: Day - Night, Cold - Hot, Male - Female etc. These pairs are represented symptomatically inside the body as well.

A core principle of natural, wholistic medicine is - correct imbalances before symptoms appear.

Without integration of the opposing forces of Yin & Yang within us, human consciousness is without grounding and becomes merely a collection of fragmented and disharmonious parts. These intangible elements are part of the spiritual domain as well.  Non-physiological elements like mental and spiritual states play their part in a balanced state as well.

Most illness is the result of imbalance within internal organ systems, due to emotional trauma, environmental toxins, poor nutrition, and stagnation of body fluids due to injury and structural changes. The organs in your body need to be in communication with one another for the body’s self-healing abilities to be activated, thus enabling inherent stability and harmony to occur.
