As a licensed Acupuncturist / Herbalist and Cranial Sacral Therapist, Janet provides the finest quality complementary health care, derived from over 30 years of study, training and practice within the fields of bodywork, manual therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Janet received a Master Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University and Clinic of TCM, in Santa Cruz, California.  Other studies in Chinese Medicine were undertaken at Zhe Jiang College in Hang Zhou, China, as part of a student exchange program at Five Branches University and Clinic of TCM.

Janet had been a practicing Certified Massage Therapist for 16 years, before beginning her studies in Chinese medicine in 1999.  For the past ten years, her practice and studies focused not only on the art and practice of Acupuncture and Herbal medicine, but also within the fields of Structural Integration, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. During this time, Janet co-developed a specialized needling technique which is used within the context of traditional meridian therapy. 

Major practices and trainings over the past 40 years include various methods within the field of meditative movement.  These include, Yoga, Continuum© (Breath, Sound and Micro-Movement Awareness), Integrative Yoga Therapy©, Dance, Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong.
As a highly effective hands-on manual therapist, Janet responds to and treats each person as a unique individual, creating a customized blend of specialized and innovative techniques to accomplish getting clients out of pain as quickly as possible. She specializes in structural problems, including musculoskeletal and neurological pain.
